The Texas Historical Commission is beginning a two-year study of the Meridian Highway through Texas. The contract is out for bids now and the project should begin in late May 2014. Part of the project focuses on building public interest and involvement – depending on how the project is structured maybe your stops could be part of that! We have a bunch of useful materials for the Meridian Highway and would be happy to share them. And definitely plan a stop in Austin!
